The 2022 Maserati MC20 is an exotic street car that makes you feel like you’re driving a race car. It has a carbon-fiber frame, a hellish 621-hp twin-turbo V-6, and neck-wrenching cornering power. It looks like a sleek Italian supercar, and its butterfly-style doors make people look at it the same way they look at Ferraris and Lamborghinis. At the touch of a button, the new Cielo Spyder convertible lets you drive with the top down and be seen. But like a lot of other supercars, the MC20 has its own set of problems. Even though the car’s suspension is flexible enough for an occasional road trip, it has a very small trunk. You’ll need your administrative assistant to follow you with your luggage. The MC20 also has almost no driver-assistance features, like adaptive cruise control or help staying in your lane. So it goes. The MC20 is made for hard-core enthusiast drivers who have the money to treat themselves to a car with a lot of personality. From the view out the windshield to the cacophony of wild engine sounds to the butt-kicking performance, the MC20 has it all.
