Overview
The Lamborghini Urus is not the company’s first SUV. This was the LM002 introduced in the mid-1980s, which had the power but not the handling to match, preferring to be off-road.
In contrast, the Lamborghini Urus is very much a road machine. It has a 650-horsepower V8 gasoline engine, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds. That makes it one of the fastest SUVs on the market. It can reach 190 mph if you have the space and the courage.
Standard air suspension allows you to raise and lower the vehicle, as well as stiffen the suspension for improved cornering. If you want a performance SUV that can handle life off-road with ease, the road is where it matters, and the combination of supple air suspension and a slick eight-speed should aid in comfort, while six different driving modes, active anti-roll bars, and four-wheel steering are intended to make the Lamborghini Urus feel more agile than its near-2.2 tonne curb weight.
The Urus comes with either four or five seats, and its rear seats fold completely flat, making it the most practical Lamborghini ever. However, if utility is a top priority, there are better large SUVs, as its sloping roof does not lend itself to ample space.
