Overview
The additional horsepower offered by the SVR trim is a nice touch. This “base” model features 21-inch wheels, a sunroof, a 13-speaker Meridian sound system, 16-way power-adjustable heated front seats, leather upholstery, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree exterior camera system. The supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine distinguishes Supercharged and SVR models from standard Land Rover Range Rover Sport models. The 518-horsepower “regular” Supercharged models and 575-horsepower SVR models are powered by a supercharged V-8 that is smooth, guttural, and astonishingly quick. This configuration is paired exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, allowing it to easily surpass legal speed limits. True to its off-road heritage, the Range Rover Sport Supercharged is equipped with a six-mode all-wheel-drive system.
