The 2021 Audi RS7 is a wide-bodied, heart-pounding four-door sports car with a practical hatchback and a usable rear seat. This brand-new RS7 is the most powerful variant of the comparably subdued Audi A7. The RS model has more aggressive-looking bodywork and exclusive high-performance equipment to compete with raucous competitors like the Mercedes-AMG GT63s and Porsche Panamera Turbos.
A twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine combines with a 48-volt hybrid system, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive to generate power. In our testing, the RS7’s 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque propelled the hefty four-door from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Similarly, Audi claims that when equipped with the most dynamic package, it can achieve a maximum speed of nearly 190 mph. Standard on the RS7 is an air suspension with adaptable settings for variable ride quality. It is possible to exchange its standard 21-inch wheels for 22-inch wheels, but the larger wheels will likely reduce the vehicle’s on-road comfort. Other notable features include rear-wheel steering and ceramic brakes for enhanced maneuverability and stopping power.
